I am a wildlife cameraman and writer living on the west coast of the Scottish Highlands. I’m a little bit obsessed with otters and eagles and I’m drawn to the wilder parts of the world, from Lapland to Patagonia via the Himalayas. I worked as an adventure guidebook writer for over a decade and as a ranger for seven years in Britain’s “last wilderness” Knoydart. Through all of it I’ve rarely been disconnected from a camera of some kind or another; I’ve been photographing and filming wildlife since I was eight-years-old. Now I’m enjoying making a living filming wildlife and wild places.
I am a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.
